Pay: $24 – $28 per hour (based on experience) bonus opportunities
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
3-day weekends every week (Fridays off)
Location: Sturgeon Bay, WI (commutable from Green Bay, Algoma, Luxemburg, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, and surrounding Northeast Wisconsin)
4-day work week. No weekends. 1st shift. On-the job training provided.
WireTech Fabricators is looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with tools and equipment, and wants to build a career in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Previous industrial maintenance experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has basic mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and an interest in learning.
You will work alongside experienced team members while developing hands-on skills maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
What You Will Do
- Assist with preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery
- Help troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical equipment issues
- Work with motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and other manufacturing equipment
- Assist with equipment adjustments, repairs, and routine maintenance
- Learn to identify mechanical and basic electrical problems
- Support maintenance needs throughout the manufacturing facility
- Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment organized and safe
- Develop your skills through hands-on training and experience
What We Are Looking For
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in industrial maintenance
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot problems
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment
- Previous experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, mechanical, farm equipment, or a similar hands-on environment is a plus, but not required
- Ability to commute to Sturgeon Bay, WI
