What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager-Northeast Region position at Wirerope Works, Inc.?
Bethlehem Wire Rope Inc. is seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager to grow customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support technical/industrial product sales throughout the Northeast region.
This position combines outside sales, account management, and technical product support in a fast-paced industrial environment. Preferred onsite/in-house location with travel, though remote candidates within the Northeast territory may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities
• Achieve territory sales goals, profit objectives, and service expectations
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical sales support activities
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue growth
• Identify new products, market opportunities, and customer needs
• Coordinate with inside sales, engineering, inventory management, and customer service teams to support customer requirements
• Resolve customer concerns related to orders, product quality, or service issues
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry meetings, and customer events
• Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory updates
• Manage territory expenses within budget guidelines
• Travel throughout the Northeast territory, including overnight and occasional international travel as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent sales experience
• Outside sales or technical sales experience preferred
• Manufacturing or lifting/rigging industry experience preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading experience are a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage territory priorities effectively
• Valid driver’s license required
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one required
