What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Training Specialist/Employment Specialist position at Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center?
Applications are being accepted for the position of Youth Training Specialist with WRC. This position would be responsible for training and developing transitional aged youth in the process of entering the workforce by facilitating vocational services that prepare individuals to make decisions about existing in the workforce. This position will be assigned to work in the following counties Houston, Henry, Geneva, Barbour, Dale, Pike, Coffee, Covington, Crenshaw, Butler, AL.
Full Time Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Applicant may be required to work flexible hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A completed employment application
High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in rehabilitation service, psychology or related field, vocation education, or an acceptable general education program desired.
Experience in classroom education, personnel management, or work of a similar nature. ( minimum 2 years experience educating K-12)

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
- Must meet WRC’s employment physical standards, which include drug/alcohol testing and may require a criminal background check.
- Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable with WRC insurance carrier.
- Must have experience in classroom education, personnel management, or work of a similar nature.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in industry, commerce, or service occupations desired but not an absolute requirement.
- Must have experience in working with the public.
