RN - NURSING HOME - FT and PRN - Registered Nurse Position Summary:
Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join our exceptional team. The RN will play a critical role in delivering quality healthcare to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

-Patient Care: Provide and oversee care to residents, ensuring comprehensive and personalized nursing care is delivered according to the healthcare plan.
-Assessment & Planning: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' health status and update care plans based on changing needs.
-Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments while monitoring residents for side effects and effectiveness.
-Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of nursing observations, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
-Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to provide information and education about care and treatment plans.
Team Leadership: Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care.
-Compliance: Adhere to all professional, federal, and state laws, regulations, and facility policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant healthcare environment.
-Quality Improvement: Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications:
-Valid and active RN license in the state of Alabama.
-Previous experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting is preferred.
-Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
-Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and creating a supportive environment.
