Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring patient health, and ensuring compliance with health regulation policies. Duties
- Deliver direct patient care by assessing needs, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs with precision and compassion;
- Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations;
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team;
- Follow all health regulation policies diligently to uphold safety standards and quality of care;
- Provide basic life support (BLS) and CPR during emergencies to stabilize patients until further medical intervention is available;
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions;
- Support nursing leadership by participating in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives;
Experience
- Proven experience as an LPN or in a similar acute care setting demonstrating strong patient care skills;
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and documentation;
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for efficient medical documentation and record management;
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times;
- Certification in CPR and basic life support (BLS) required; first aid certification is a plus;
- Prior nursing leadership experience is advantageous for those interested in advancing into supervisory roles;
- Demonstrated understanding of health regulation policies to ensure compliance across all clinical activities.
