Content & Communications Coordinator - Admin Company Description:

Role Description:
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Communications & Content Coordinator at Wiregrass Medical Center. The Content Coordinator will be responsible for managing and organizing content across various platforms and channels. The day-to-day tasks may include creating and editing web content, writing digital media posts, developing content strategies, and coordinating with different departments to ensure timely and accurate content delivery. This role will primarily be located at our facility in Geneva, AL, with the flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities:

-Evaluate and develop grassroots marketing strategies and plans that align with WMC internal and community goals.
-Oversee all elements related to social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
-Manage the website, including updating graphics, content, design, and layout.
-Manage conceptual and design elements, content, and the distribution of both branded print and digital media, including flyers, brochures, newsletters, ads, billboards, projections, invitations, announcements, recruitment information, etc., to keep both the public and WMC members informed of changes.
-Collaborate with other departments on marketing needs, content, and compliant messaging.
-Maintain positive relationship with necessary 3rd party vendors.
-Assist in providing content and material that is education and awareness based to promote WMC programs, initiatives, campaigns, resources, and facility capabilities.
-Analyze marketing data and report it to leadership.
-Support photography and videography needs by outsourcing appropriate vendors or personally capturing material.
-Develop marketing concepts that combine all needed elements of graphic design, colors, themes, images, videos, fonts, verbiage, and messaging to create consistency across all platforms and mediums.

Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in content management and coordination
Web content writing and writing skills
Experience with content strategy development
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and remotely
Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, English, or related field
