Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electronic Technician role based in Livonia, MI. The Electronic Technician will assemble, test, and repair electronic assemblies, including PCBs, wire harnesses, and electrical enclosures, following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Responsibilities include performing precision soldering, verifying component placement, and conducting functional and continuity tests to ensure product quality and compliance with IPC and company standards. The role involves troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems, identifying root causes of issues, and performing corrective repairs or adjustments. The Electronic Technician will also perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, document test results and repair actions, and collaborate with engineers, quality personnel, and manufacturing teams to support continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electronics Technology and practical understanding of electricity and electronic components.
- Proficient in soldering (through-hole and surface mount preferred) and working with PCBs and wire harness assemblies.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electronic circuits, systems, and assemblies to identify and resolve faults.
- Experience with maintenance & repair of electronic equipment, tools, and test instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with ISO and IPC standards for electronic assembly is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to product quality and safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Technical certificate, associate degree, or equivalent experience in electronics or a related field preferred.
