The Senior Strategic Sales Executive operates with a high degree of autonomy and works closely with executive leadership, Account Executives, and internal teams to identify, qualify, and close opportunities with meaningful long-term potential. This role is not responsible for managing small, transactional projects or reactive inbound requests that fall below strategic deal thresholds.

- Qualify opportunities rigorously to ensure alignment with Wired’s production strengths, deal-size priorities, and operational capacity.
- Set clear expectations with prospective clients regarding scope, timelines, and capabilities.
- Serve as the primary sales lead on complex opportunities through close and formal handoff.
Market Awareness & Insight
- Develop a strong understanding of relevant industries, territories, and account segments to support effective prospecting.
- Share customer feedback, market observations, and emerging opportunity trends with leadership.
- Provide input on growth opportunities based on direct client, partner, and venue interactions.
Sales Systems & Communication
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records for active opportunities, including notes, stages, and next steps.
- Communicate opportunity status clearly to executive leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Use sales tools and systems as required to support pipeline visibility and effective collaboration.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience selling complex services or solutions in a B2B environment.
- Preferred experience in live events, production, media, experiential marketing, or adjacent service-based industries.

- Comfortable navigating longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage a complex pipeline with minimal supervision.
