Role
We’re hiring a Web Designer to help create and manage websites for our customers.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is good with customers, organized, and comfortable building polished websites.
You’ll build and update websites on the Wirechunk platform, help move projects forward, answer customer questions, and take some sales and support calls as needed.
This is not a software engineering role (no JavaScript development is required).
What You’ll Do
- Build and update customer websites on the Wirechunk platform
- Make content, layout, and design updates across client sites
- Translate loose customer requests into finished work
- Manage website projects end-to-end and keep them moving
- Help onboard new customers and guide them through setup
- Answer day-to-day customer questions by phone, email, video call, and chat
- Take some sales calls and customer support calls
- Improve the consistency and quality of the customer experience
- Support general business operations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable talking with customers and leading calls
- Organized, dependable, and good at follow-through
- Able to manage a mix of design, support, and project coordination work
- At least 1 year of experience with HTML and CSS
- Good eye for clean, modern web design
- Comfortable learning new workflows quickly
- Able to work independently and make solid judgment calls
- Calm under pressure and good at handling random requests
Nice to Have
- Experience building websites
- Experience with customer success, account management, sales, or support
- Experience writing website or marketing copy
- Familiarity with forms, integrations, or basic marketing tools
