Electrical Estimator – Key Responsibilities
- Review electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for electrical materials, equipment, and labor requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed project proposals and bid packages within required deadlines.
- Conduct site walkthroughs to assess existing conditions, gather field measurements, and document project requirements with photographs.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and project managers to clarify project scope and requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict proposal due dates.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, emails, and requests for information (RFIs).
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential conflicts, omissions, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain organized bid documentation and estimate records for future reference.
- Utilize estimating software, spreadsheets, and industry pricing databases to develop accurate project budgets.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
