Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations within the manufacturing facility.

Great hours – First shift only!

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 11:00am

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and verify contents against packing slips
• Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labelling, and documenting orders in accordance with company standards
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Coordinate shipments with production, purchasing, and logistics teams
• Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment for optimal workflow
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
• Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is preferred (manufacturing environment is a plus)
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Work Environment

• Temperature controlled manufacturing and warehouse setting
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
