The operator works within a small team and must be proficient with basic office tools and shipping platforms like FedEx and UPS online. Forklift operation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are essential, along with strong organizational abilities and a self-motivated attitude.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
- Pull orders and palletize products accurately
- Strap and wrap pallets to secure shipments
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries and pickups as needed
- Operate forklifts for material handling (certification can be provided)
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate documentation
- Utilize FedEx and UPS online tools for shipment tracking and processing
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic Excel for communication and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years experience in shipping and receiving operations
- Certified forklift operator with hands-on experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with FedEx and UPS online shipping tools
- Basic math skills for shipment calculations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
