Role : Network Data Admin
Job Description
- Able to lead the team managing the Firewalls and Load Balancers.
- Able to review the changes and identify the issues in implementation of Firewall and Load Balancer changes.
- Real time troubleshooting and diagnostics of issues across LAN and WAN network through NetBrain.
- Configure routing protocols on network equipment
- Manage IP addressing schemes leveraging IPAM tool and devices as necessary
- Configure VLANs, VTP, RSTP, and port security at switching level
- Access control list configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Network protocol configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN network requests related to switch ports, VLAN tagging, STP/VTP/RSTP, etc.
- Maintain list of Customer site contacts and validate on a quarterly basis
- Provide assistance to localize the fault segment on the statistics collected and provide insight for further diagnosis.
- Quick Identification of network performance bottlenecks by constant monitoring and measurement of metrics and identification of impending faults
- Providing inputs for Capacity Planning/ Migration/ Optimization / Future upgrade strategy based on the performance trend
- Analysis of traffic usage pattern to know the trend
- Responsible for Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of network products like Cisco Router & switches, Aruba Wireless, Riverbed WAN Optimizer
- Regular IOS update and hotfixes
- Managing and monitoring of log files of network devices
- Deep packet analysis & periodic check of LAN/WAN traffic Support 24x7
Required Skills
- Expertise and should have excellent hands-on troubleshooting in Checkpoint and ASA Firewalls.
- Expertise and should have excellent hands-on troubleshooting in Cloud Firewalls ( AWS, Azure)
- Expertise in Routing protocols like BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
- Expertise in HSRP/VRRP and STP implementations like MST, RSTP, PVST.
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and IPAM. Should have hands-on experience in Infoblox (Internal DNS), and F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager) (external DNS)
- Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and documents
- Manage and implement network security policies and procedures
- Knowledge and ability to identify the risk on the customer Network Security architecture & suggest solution to identified risk according to the best practices.
- Should have good presentation skills & Fair knowledge on ITIL Framework
- Hand-on experience in Packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark, TCPDump, etc.) Riverbed, Pingdon
- Hand-on experience in SolarWinds monitoring tool.
