Overview: In our Identity and Access Management (IAM) practice, the Identity Project Manager/Business Analyst (PM/BA) is a hybrid professional pivotal in guiding IAM projects from inception through to successful completion. This individual harmonizes project management with business analysis, ensuring seamless integration of our IAM solutions with client objectives and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Planning & Execution:
· Supervise the deployment of IAM solutions, ensuring adherence to project requirements, budget, and timeline.
· Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in line with the Statement of Work (SOW).
· Develop comprehensive project plans, incorporating stakeholder input and aligning with overarching business strategies.
· Requirements, Design, and Testing Support:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, articulate, and document IAM needs, translating business processes into clear requirements.
· Provide analytical insights into system design, ensuring the IAM solution aligns with project goals and industry best practices.
· Develop and execute test plans, ensuring the IAM solutions function correctly and meet quality benchmarks.
· Address issues or bugs identified during testing, ensuring their resolution prior to deployment.
· Team & Communication Leadership:
· Direct and motivate project teams, assigning responsibilities and managing performance.
· Serve as the primary communication hub, maintaining transparent and effective information flow between all project team members and client stakeholders.
· Risk & Change Management:
· Proactively identify risks, devising and implementing mitigation strategies.
· Manage scope changes meticulously, involving management as necessary for SOW modifications.
· Training & Documentation:
· Develop and deliver training materials and sessions tailored to user needs and system specifics.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference and compliance.
· Project Closure & Compliance:
· Conduct thorough project reviews, cataloging successes and learning opportunities.
· Ensure the project adheres to relevant industry regulations, HiTrust/NIST frameworks, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
· 3 experience in project management and business analysis within IAM, IT Security Architecture, Engineering, Security Operations, or related fields.
· Deep understanding of project management principles and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
· Expertise in developing and scoping use cases, along with crafting detailed functional requirements to guide project lifecycle.
· Proficient in constructing Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure clear linkage between requirements, design, build, test plans, and executed tests.
· Solid background in writing comprehensive test plans and scripts, executing testing procedures, and meticulously tracking outcomes to ensure project fidelity.
· Familiarity with IAM technology concepts, with experience in systems such as SailPoint, Oracle OIM/OAM, NetIQ Identity, CA Identity and Access, IBM Tivoli, and Saviynt a plus.
· Knowledgeable in identity repositories such as Active Directory, LDAP, and cloud-based services including Azure and AWS.
· Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards pertinent to IAM, aiming for alignment with HiTrust, NIST, and other frameworks.
· Certification in Project Management (PMP) and/or Business Analysis (CBAP) preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field. Advanced certifications related to IAM are advantageous.
Travel Requirement:
· Travel as required by project demands up to 3 nights/4 days per week when on out-of-town assignments.
