Your role in our team:

As a Maintenance Supervisor at WITRON, you will focus on keeping highly automated systems running reliably by guiding the maintenance team, setting clear priorities, and coordinating closely with Operations. Your role is centered on planning and oversight, ensuring maintenance activities are executed effectively, issues are escalated appropriately, and performance is tracked through meaningful KPIs, while promoting safe work practices, 5S standards, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidate profile:

You are a trade‑qualified maintenance professional with supervisory experience in an automated industrial environment and a clear understanding of how maintenance performance impacts operations. You have experience working across different shifts and can adapt effectively to varied operational demands. You bring strong technical credibility, apply structured problem solving to electrical, mechanical, and system‑level issues, and use data and KPIs to guide decisions. Organized, safety‑focused, and improvement‑minded, you balance hands‑on understanding with disciplined planning and coordination to support reliable maintenance execution.

Qualifications:

• Trade qualification as a Millwright or Industrial Electrician, obtained through a recognized apprenticeship, certification, or state licensing program

Skills/Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead, direct, and support maintenance teams across day, afternoon, and night shifts
• Demonstrated experience planning, scheduling, and directing maintenance workloads
• Strong understanding of maintenance processes, preventive maintenance strategies, asset management, and maintenance KPIs
• Proven experience coordinating maintenance activities, managing escalations, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills, including electrical and mechanical root cause analysis
• Technical competence to provide internal system and equipment training
• Experience providing hands‑on electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance of industrial production equipment
• Understanding of automated systems and inventory management
• Familiarity with automated material handling equipment (preferred) and PLC logic (preferred)
• Competence using system diagnostic, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, wiring diagrams, and electrical symbols
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical drive technologies (motors, gear systems) and control technologies (controls, inverters)
• Familiarity with AC systems up to 400/480 volts and DC systems up to 24 volts
• Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and general PC applications
• Excellent communication, organizational, and escalation management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, and support the maintenance team by planning, scheduling, assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and coaching team performance
• Execute and maintain the maintenance plan, ensuring effective preventive and corrective maintenance delivery
• Coordinate with Operations to perform maintenance activities that minimize equipment downtime
• Promote and enforce 5S standards and continuous improvement within maintenance
• Provide internal system and equipment training to maintenance personnel
• Monitor, track, and report maintenance‑related KPIs, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
• Escalate operational, technical, and safety issues to appropriate levels as required
• Provide operational maintenance support as needed to ensure system reliability
• Perform root cause analysis for electrical, mechanical, and technical failures, including recurring and single‑point‑of‑failure issues
• Conduct system inspections and diagnostics using monitoring tools for unplanned maintenance needs
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and PLC fault finding, diagnosis, recovery, and resolution
• Analyze failure data and system information to improve inspection methods, components, and maintenance processes
