We are seeking a full-time Loan Originator Assistant to join our team at Wintrust Mortgage. This on-site position is based in Crystal Lake, IL. The Loan Originator Assistant will provide support to Loan Originators by ensuring accurate documentation, managing client communication, and handling administrative tasks to facilitate the loan origination process. Responsibilities include maintaining client records, coordinating loan applications, verifying financial data, and assisting in preparing loan files for submission. The role requires close collaboration with Loan Originators to uphold the highest standards of service and ensure a seamless experience for clients.
- Proficiency in Loan Origination processes and a strong understanding of Mortgages
- Knowledge of Finance concepts and experience in Loans and lending procedures
- Familiarity with underwriting standards and regulatory compliance
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a detail-oriented approach
- Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Crystal Lake, IL
- Previous experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is preferred
- Basic proficiency in loan processing systems and related software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
