** Girls 7th Grade Basketball Coach **
Winton Woods City Schools is seeking an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with Middle Schoolers and teaching the sport of Basketball for the 2026-2027 season.
Qualifications:
- Playing experience at the high school & college level
- Preferred experience coaching at the middle school, high school or collegiate level
- Positive coaching platform
- Ohio First Aide & CPR Certificate
- A valid Ohio Pupil Activity Permit or able to obtain
- Must be able to pass a BCI & FBI background check
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring student athletes' success and progress
- Collaborating with assistant coaches to organize and execute practice plans
- Developing game strategy
- Film breakdown
- Directing the implementation of proper methods and skills
- Attending coaching meetings outside the schedule
- Interfacing with colleges and universities to secure opportunities for student athletes
- Attendance of practices and games
- Fundraising and outreach programs
- This position requires evening and weekend work and a high level of recruiting within the Winton Woods City School District.
- Time commitment is a minimum of 10 hours per week.
