Senior Operations Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The position of Senior Operations Analyst at Winthrop Capital Management (WCM) is a mid-level position designed to provide candidates with a challenging, meaningful and rewarding opportunity to build a career in the investment management business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Update and maintain portfolio data to support the month-end close process

·        Serve as the primary contact person on investment accounting related issues

·        Coordinate the daily exchange of data files between the firm and our investment accounting vendors

·        Review portfolio compliance relative to investment guidelines for each account.

·        Track transaction activity on private credit investments, including loan delinquencies.

·        Support the daily account reconciliation process.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

·        3-5 years of experience in the investments industry

·        Minimum 2 years of experience with investment accounting or statutory reporting is required

·        Possession of bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Exceptional organizational skills

·        Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

·        Experience with Tableau, Python or SQL is a plus.

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
