Responsibilities
ProgramEquipment Operations
- Ensure equipment is handled and adjusted in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and Winter4Kids procedures.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of participant gear, including jackets, pants, gloves, and helmets.
- Inspect equipment and participant gear for condition, proper function, and program readiness.
- Maintain accurate equipment testing, adjustment, maintenance, and issue records as required.
- Maintain an organized equipment and participant gear system that supports efficient participant arrival, fitting, and departure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department work environment.
- Clearly explain basic gear operation and safety instructions to guests, answering questions regarding fit and function.
- Greet guests, gather accurate profile data (height, weight, age, skier type, boot size), and correctly size boots, skis, snowboards, and helmets.
- Identify equipment concerns and coordinate repair or replacement needs with the appropriate manager.
- Maintain an organized equipment and participant gear system that supports efficient participant arrival, fitting, and departure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department work environment.
- Model and enforce established safety procedures and operational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Winter4Kids programs and operations.
