Job Summary:
 The Cashier / Busser is responsible for assisting with various tasks in the restaurant, including cashier duties, bussing tables, and ensuring cleanliness. This role may involve working at Ed & Mully’s in the Village, Summit House on the summit of Big Mountain, or the Base Lodge at the bottom of Chair 6.

Job Relationships:

• Reports to: Outlet Manager
• Employees Supervised: None

Job Specifications:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Previous food service experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively under high-stress conditions
• Strong interpersonal skills

Specific Duties:

• Stock condiment areas regularly
• Set up service line according to opening checklist
• Operate cash register efficiently and accurately
• Inform supervisor of any food shortages or spoilage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
• Provide courteous and efficient service to guests
• Bus and reset tables as needed
• Report any issues or feedback to supervisor
• Conduct hourly bathroom checks and cleanings
• Adhere to Health Department regulations
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures
• Establish positive relationships with guests and coworkers
• Emphasize safety in all activities

Work Environment:

• Moderate physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Extended periods of standing and bending
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals; proper training provided
• Flexibility in schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to travel to work locations under varying weather conditions
• Non-smoking environment
