Overview
The CCPA will work closely with our Chiropractic Physician and support staff to assist in patient care, perform examinations, deliver therapies, manage documentation, and keep daily operations running smoothly. This role requires strong clinical competency, organization, and excellent communication skills.
Clinical Duties
- Perform all patient examinations, including daily notes, initial exams, re-exams, PIP, LOP, and Workers’ Compensation, unless physician involvement is required.
- Conduct and manage all X-rays, including positioning, exposure, and documentation.
- Maintain and update the X-ray tracker and PIP tracker.
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist with therapeutic modalities.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, progress, and care expectations.
- Complete DME notes and therapy documentation.
- Process and coordinate referrals including Orthopedic, Neurological, Emergency Medical Condition, and MRI.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Perform attorney check-ins and assist with case communication.
- Manage claims-related tasks, record requests, and subpoenas.
- Complete all patient notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Answer phones, schedule patients, and manage daily patient flow.
- Check patients in/out and process payments.
- Oversee and maintain inventory of clinical and office supplies.
- Conduct new patient follow-ups and care calls.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Certified Chiropractic Physician Assistant (CCPA) license required.
- Chiropractic, rehab, or musculoskeletal clinical experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with PIP, LOP, and WC documentation is highly beneficial.
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
