Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including truck, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Load and unload merchandise with heavy lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury.
• Deliver products to clients’ locations, or distribution centers while maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times, product details, and any potential delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and route documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Build strong customer relationships through friendly interaction, reliable service, and attentive communication.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and DOT regulations during route driving to ensure safety for yourself and others.

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial truck driving is required. Flat bed truck experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills for handling pricing calculations, inventory counts, and route planning.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices along with organizational skills for efficient scheduling.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; physical stamina is essential.
• Understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation is a plus but training will be provided if needed.
• Bilingual preferred but not necessary.

• Must be able to passed full background check and drug testing.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
