Position Summary:
Condominium Association is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician with 3 years of building or residential maintenance experience to help maintain a high-rise residential property.
This position is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the building and responding to maintenance requests in a professional and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and minor HVAC repairs
- Respond to daily work orders and maintenance requests
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas and building systems
- Maintain lighting fixtures, equipment, and building components
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and tools
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations when required
Qualifications
- 3 years of maintenance experience in residential buildings, condominiums, apartments, or hotels
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Fluent in English (required)
⭐ Spanish and/or Russian is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
Work Environment
- Residential condominium property
