The Winston Prouty Center in Brattleboro operates a 180-acre campus which is home to 40 tenants in 5 buildings with approximately 130,000 square feet of space.
The Facilities Assistant - Cleaning is a member of the Winston Prouty Campus Facilities Team. This team works to support our campus tenants and community customers by ensuring a safe, comfortable, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing environment. Our service model is responsive with strong customer service and a “can do” attitude as our foundation. We are fiscally responsible and creative. We provide a supportive team environment that encourages growth, trying new things, and asking for help whenever needed.
The position is 20-25 hours per week.
General Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential spaces
- Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop and otherwise clean spaces including hallways, offices, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets
- Conduct custodial duties including sanitizing surfaces and emptying trash/recycling bins
- Refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels)
- Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery
- Assist with cleaning of unit turnovers as needed
- Maintain cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
Reporting, health, and other requirements and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality as required by the Winston Prouty Center, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in cleaning and/or custodial services.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues and community members.
- Basic computer skills (internet and email at a minimum).

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
