Winstar Hotel is looking for dependable and energetic seasonal (May through October) Lifeguards to join our team and help keep our pool area safe, welcoming, and guest-ready. Whether you're already certified or looking to become one, we've got you covered—we offer free lifeguard certification and training!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervising the hotel pool and hot tub areas to ensure guest safety
- Providing friendly, helpful service and creating a positive experience for all guests
- Responding to emergencies using CPR, First Aid, and rescue techniques (training provided)
- Enforcing pool safety rules and hotel policies
- Conducting water quality checks and ensuring cleanliness of the area
- Reporting any safety concerns, incidents, or maintenance needs to management
- Attending trainings and team meetings
- Assisting with the upkeep of locker rooms and restrooms
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Are a strong swimmer and comfortable in and around the water
- Communicate clearly and stay calm under pressure
- Enjoy working with guests of all ages
- Are dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Are willing to complete lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certification (provided by us at no cost)
- Can lift up to 25 lbs and work in a physically active environment
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Previous lifeguard or hospitality experience
- Basic computer skills
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays
