Function:

Join a dynamic team where you’ll play an essential role in keeping our guest spaces pristine while also ensuring our team members’ safe and timely transport to WinStar World Hotel. In this exciting dual-role position, you’ll maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas—all while ensuring our associates enjoy a smooth ride to and from work. Help us provide an unforgettable experience for our guests while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency!

Responsibilities:

Housekeeping Excellence:

• Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction by ensuring the highest cleanliness standards for guest floor corridors, stairwells, public spaces, and vending areas.
• Stock up with a smile: Ensure room attendants have all the essentials they need by keeping linen closets and carts fully stocked.
• Clear the way: Assist in the removal of soiled linen and trash from room attendant carts and lobby areas.
• Polish perfection: Clean and spot-check corridor walls, doors, mirrors, and elevator doors for a flawless finish.
• Work with purpose: Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain all public spaces to keep them sparkling.
• Extra help where needed: Assist with mattress flipping, furniture relocation, and drapery installations to keep things fresh.
• Team support: Help room attendants during peak turnover times by assisting with trash removal and linen collection.
• Inspect and protect: Ensure hotel furniture and features are free from damage, and report any issues promptly.
• Ready for anything: Be prepared to provide emergency instructions during safety situations or guest concerns.

Transportation Hero:

• Drive with pride: Safely transport associates to and from WinStar World Hotel, ensuring safe, timely arrivals and departures.
• Pre-trip prep: Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the van is ready for a smooth ride.
• Log the details: Keep track of mileage, maintenance checks, and other essential details.
• Staying on schedule: Follow a consistent pick-up and drop-off routine with great attention to time and service.
• Friendly and approachable: Maintain a calm and courteous attitude, making every ride a positive experience for our associates.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Technical & Physical Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Texas State Driver’s License and meet all driving eligibility requirements.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation standards, stain removal, and chemical cleaning agents.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move continuously in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Capacity to follow detailed instructions, especially regarding safety and security procedures.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and operate in physically demanding situations.
• Comfortable working in varied temperatures and environments, including exposure to secondhand smoke.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles is a plus.
• Previous driving or transportation experience will give you a leg up!
