What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Coordinator - Conflicts - Dallas position at Winstead PC?
The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Intake/Conflicts team and the Business Intake process.
Essential Duties:
- Providing support Firmwide with tasks within the business intake process
- Monitoring pending new business intake workflow for accuracy and completeness
- Ensuring client documentation is properly categorized and stored within the Document Management System
- Auditing time entries against Conflicts database to ensure data accuracy
- Processing Client/Matter Maintenance Requests
- Carefully adhering to Departmental and Firm standards as they relate to confidential information and risk mitigation
- Working with Conflicts Department to support onboarding new clients and matters as needed
- Working with Recruiting Department to assist with onboarding new hires as needed
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of law firm experience
- A working understanding of large law firm processes and procedures as well as a general familiarity with various practice areas handled by the firm is required
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with autonomy while making sound judgments
- Ability to produce detailed and accurate work product
- Effective time management and the ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective and clear communication skills within a professional office environment
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Technical proficiency with computers, MS Office applications, and other office machinery necessary as position requires constant communication and exchange of information with firm attorneys, clients and staff
- Flexibility to work additional hours beyond normal schedule may be required to meet firm or client demands
