Summary
We are seeking a Concrete Laborer to join our team in the construction field. This role is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality construction services while fostering a collaborative and enjoyable workplace. The position is based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist in pouring and finishing concrete for various projects
- Prepare and clean work sites before and after concrete placement
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Operate basic construction equipment as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Monitor and adjust daily tasks based on the production schedule
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Read, interpret, and ensure adherence to blueprints, elevations, plans, and specifications
- Assist with layout and ensure proper placement and alignment of forms, footings, and structures
- Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, including advanced knowledge of concrete paving, tools, formwork systems, and equipment
- Proven experience in construction site work, particularly with concrete
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of quality control processes in construction
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Basic understanding of project scheduling and estimating is preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards work
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required
