The Role
We are looking for a dependable, motivated Production Technician who enjoys working with their hands, learning new processes, and contributing to a small team.This is a generalist production role. You will support multiple areas of the shop, including fabrication, finishing, coatings, screen-printing, material tracking, woodworking, crating, and shipping preparation.The goal is for you to become someone the team can count on to own a workstation or workstream independently, with minimal oversight, while meeting Winsor’s standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and communication.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, finish, and inspect metal components
- Apply coatings in a commercial spray booth
- Assist with screen-printing operations
- Mix coatings and materials according to specifications
- Support woodworking, crating, packaging, and shipping preparation
- Measure, track, and organize materials for production jobs
- Check work for quality before it moves to the next step
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Float between departments based on project needs
- Communicate proactively when something is unclear, incorrect, delayed, or could be improved
- Help reduce rework, prevent mistakes, and improve shop processes

In your first 30 days, success means showing up reliably, learning our standards, asking good questions, following safety procedures, and building trust with the production manager and team.Over time, success means you can independently manage assigned work, maintain a high quality standard, track materials accurately, communicate clearly, and help the team complete custom projects on schedule.

Helpful experience includes:
- Manufacturing, trades, or shop work
- Metal fabrication or finishing
- Artwork/design fabrication
- Spray finishing, coatings, painting, or powder coating
- Screen-printing
- Woodworking, crating, packaging, or shipping
- Signage, public art fabrication, or custom production work
Physical Requirements
This is an active shop role. Candidates must be able to:
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday
- Work safely around tools, coatings, production equipment, and shop materials
- Follow PPE and safety procedures at all times

Compensation & Benefits
- $17–$26 per hour, depending on experience
- Medical insurance, with 75% of the employee premium subsidized by the company
