Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage plant-level accounting operations and internal controls for AR/AP, inventory, and GL.
- Drive cost accounting initiatives by tracking standard costs, BOMs, labor, and overhead.
- Monitor production and purchase price variances to improve operational profitability.
- Deliver GAAP - compliant monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
- Support operational leadership with financial modeling and forecast updates.
- Maintain payroll accuracy and ensure compliance with labor cost reporting requirements.
- Oversee treasury functions including cash forecasting and cash usage optimization.
Skills Needed:
Candidate’s resume should be more focused on “Plant Controller – Manufacturing”. Skills that are needed to be in the resume are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years progressive accounting experience.
- Strong GAAP knowledge.
- Manufacturing accounting experience (They perform injection molding, which is ideal, but any manufacturing would help).
- Strong in financial reporting, cost accounting, cash management, and Excel.
