Evening Administration/Security- The Loft at Linn/Winslow Gardens Assisted Living
Aldersbridge Communities is looking for a per diem Evening Administraton/Security to join our team. The primary purpose of your job position is to perform assigned evening administrative/security duties in accordance with established procedures, as directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful, viable evening administrative/security program is maintained at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answering multi-line telephone system. Point of contact for the evening shift, answer calls for The Loft at Linn Memory Care Assisted Living and Winslow Gardens Assisted Living. Greet visitors and direct to appropriate areas. Operate basic office machinery i.e. copier, fax machine. Secure doors at the end of the evening shift.
Education
- Must possess, as a minimum, a 12th-grade education or equivalent.
Experience
At least 3-5 years security experience
Must have training in security procedures
Specific Requirements
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess a basic knowledge of security procedures, regulations, as well as procedures to follow during emergency conditions.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
Must be knowledgeable of laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care security.
Must be cordial and have the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the security programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc.
Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
Must be well groomed and have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents and staff.
Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
Must be able to follow written and oral instruction.

Pay: $19.10 – $21.30 per hour (Per Diem rates)
