Scope of Position: The Lead Host Couple, is responsible to create, nurture and support an atmosphere of hospitality and care throughout all WinShape Marriage R R’s in addition to leading and developing the host couple team for future ministry.
Collaborates with: Assistant Director, Renewal WinShape Marriage

Responsibilities
- Leads the R&R host couple team during the retreat
- Facilitates host couple team meetings prior to the R&R
- Contacts all R&R guests prior to arrival
- Recruits future R R host couple leaders.
- Equips and trains host couple team leaders.
- Supervises other host couples before and during the R R
- Executes content and announcements during the R&R
- Facilitates House of Dreams tour during the R&R
- Creates small group discussion questions and program based on need and feedback.
- Coordinates prayer support between host couples and guests.
- Designs agenda and leads the host couple huddle during R R Week.
- Understands all programmatic elements, talking points and can execute teaching sessions, when needed.
- Participates in WinShape Marriage team meetings and after-action reviews when applicable.
- Provides ongoing feedback and support to the Assistant Director, Renewal for further development of curriculum and process’.
- Establishes and executes an atmosphere of safety and trust emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually for guests and teammates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in management, hospitality or related fields
- Experience as a Senior Pastor for more than 10 years.
- Experience in dealing with guests in a non-intrusive, supportive and loving manner
- Demonstrate the ability to support, coach and train others.
- Must have the ability to identify, anticipate and address needs of the guests
- Must possess a cooperative spirit and demonstrate the ability to build a strong ongoing working relationship with other WinShape Marriage Team
- Demonstrate experience leading and the ability to encourage and empower other small host couples
- Must be a skilled communicator with an optimistic attitude
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- Must possess commitment to excellence and hospitality
- Ability to gain proficiency in WinShape Foundation’s hospitality and CRM systems
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- A self-professing Christ follower, actively pursuing his/her faith on a consistent basis
