Full-Time Pastor

Winona Methodist Church is a welcoming, independent Methodist congregation in Columbiana County, Ohio, with longtime members and younger families. We offer blended worship with a praise team, Sunday School for all ages, and youth programs. We are seeking a full-time, hands-on pastor to lead, care for, and grow our church family.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD
- Plan and lead Sunday worship and preach weekly.
- Facilitate church ministries and activities, including worship, Sunday School, Bible study, youth and children's ministries, events, and fellowship.
- Provide pastoral care, including hospital, home, and nursing home visits, plus weddings, funerals, and baptisms.
- Work with church leadership on planning and budgeting, and keep regular office hours.
GROW THE CHURCH
- Serve as head of outreach and evangelism, leading the effort to reach new people and families.
- Be visible and active in the local schools and community.
- Use social media, the website, and livestream to share the church's message.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- This is a full-time, hands-on position.
- Work alongside volunteers and staff as an active, involved partner in the church's ministry.
- Be present and dependable, working alongside the congregation, church administration, staff, and volunteers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Committed follower of Jesus, called to ministry.
- Ordained or licensed minister.
- Bible-centered and open on non-essentials.
- Strong preacher and self-starter who grows ministries.
- Must pass a background check.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $35,000 – $45,000 per year, based on experience
- Parsonage provided at no cost: 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with attached garage and full basement
- Electric, gas, trash service, and property taxes paid by the church (approx. $24,000/year value)
- Total package: up to $69,000 per year, plus mileage
- Mileage reimbursement for visits and church travel
- 2 weeks paid vacation annually, plus holidays and sick days
- Health insurance: negotiable
