JOB DESCRIPTION
The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Operations, Business Manager, and staff of Winona Area Ambulance Service, Inc. This role involves managing a high volume of ongoing projects and communications, often in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- May complete seated computer work for the majority of the day with tasks that require occasional standing to retrieve items from the other workspaces or use office equipment.
- May assume reaching in vertical height within 20-35” on a regular basis and occasionally at 6-18” or at 40-60” when retrieving items from storage. May bend from sitting or standing position to retrieve items from lower storage. Reaching in the front and to the side most often.
- May use both hands with simple grasping and pinch grasping to operate office equipment at desk heights. May require light grip or pinch force with activities.
- May handling office supplies that weigh less than 10# frequently such as reams of paper and rarely up to 15-20 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Age: 18
- Education: High school graduation / GED and 2-year degree in a related field of study
- Experience: Customer Service Experience
- Computer proficiency; including Microsoft Office and Google products
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain efficiency and complete tasks with frequent interruptions
- Ability to keep administrative and patient care matters confidential
