What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Care Technician position at WinnMed?
WinnMed is seeking to hire a f ull-Time (40 hours/week) Floor Care Technician to join our Environmental Services Team ! This position is responsible for keeping all areas of the medical center clean and sanitary, using proper cleaning techniques, and following department standards. On the job training is provided.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday evening, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., primarily
- Weekend rotation includes working every 5th weekend and holiday rotation, working 1 to 2 holidays a year
- All Holiday and Weekend hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Shift Premiums:
- 2nd shift (evening): $3.00/ hour
- Weekend shift: $2.00/ hour
- Possession of or current progression towards a high school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred
- Previous floor cleaning experience and knowledge of floor machines preferred
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player
- Will assist with other Environmental Services Team members, as needed
