WinnMed is seeking a 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) Clinic Assistant (LPN or CMA) to support the Decorah, IA Clinic. This position is responsible for providing direct assistance to the physician or other healthcare provider. The Clinic Assistant greets and rooms patients in a caring and efficient manner. Also assists with examinations and procedures as requested by the health care provider and completes documentation of all pertinent patient data in accordance with organizational standards.
Clinic Open Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
This position will either be hired as a Clinic RN or a Clinic Assistant (LPN or CMA)
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Iowa or completion of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program with current certification in the State of Iowa required
- Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred
- BLS Certification required
- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English
