WinnMed is an independently led, fast growing health care organization, and we’re looking for an inspiring, strategic nursing leader to join our team as Chief Nursing Officer.
The CNO will oversee nursing services across the hospital and affiliated clinics while championing quality, patient safety, staff engagement, recruitment and retention, and evidence-based care. This visible, collaborative leader will work closely with nurses, physicians, administrators, and community partners to strengthen care delivery and support WinnMed’s continued growth.
We’re seeking a leader with:
- Proven success in culture improvement, recruitment and retention
- Experience leading quality and patient safety initiatives
- Strong collaboration, communication, and change-management skills
- Expertise in workforce planning and resource allocation
- Nursing leadership experience, ideally in a rural or community hospital
- Experience across multiple clinical settings
Required: Iowa RN license, baccalaureate nursing degree, master’s degree (or commitment to obtain within two years), and a minimum of five years of nursing leadership experience with line management responsibility.
