The Pharmacy Retail Specialist works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist and supports the daily operations of the pharmacy through a variety of non-clinical activities. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients with a friendly and professional manner.
- Answering phones, processing sales transactions, handling payments, ordering medications and supplies.
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with prescription and mail-out activities as assigned.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, efficient, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys interacting with patients and the pharmacy team. The position is full-time and offers a great work-life balance, plus great benefits and a supportive team.
Schedule
- Shifts may vary from 9 a.m. -5:30 p.m. or 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday – Friday and an occasional Saturday shift from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
