What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paddle Instructor position at Winnetka Park District?
Job Description
Pay: $30-$35, this is a non-exempt, part-time position.
Qualifications: Seeking an individual with prior paddle/platform tennis instruction experience. Must be skilled and proficient in platform tennis. Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Professional membership/involvement in the American Platform Tennis Association ("APTA") or similar organizations preferred.
Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Ice Arena/Platform Tennis Manager, the Paddle Instructor will be responsible for developing, organizing, and leading group and private platform tennis lessons while following Winnetka Park District curriculum, guidelines, and rules.
Work Hours: Position generally teaches classes September through May.
