What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat Launch Attendant position at Winnetka Park District?
Job Description
Pay: $15.00-$19.00
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age. Seeking individuals that are mature, polite, respectful, responsible, and dependable. Must possess outstanding customer service and communication skills. Cash handling experience a plus but not required. Position requires CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. The Park District will provide certification training. The work is performed outdoors so must have the ability to work in extreme heat and other weather conditions.
Duties: Greets and checks in/out patrons utilizing the Stepan Family Boat Launch located at Lloyd Beach. Assist in boat launch activities, and retrieving and storing various water vessels. Enforces boat launch rules and regulations, collects daily fees or scans passes. Promptly reports any safety, maintenance, or other problems or issues to supervisory staff. Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the boat launch area, bathrooms, beach house, and office area.
