Job Overview

Winner Winner Vegan is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Vegan Food Preparation and Packaging Associate to support the preparation, production, packaging, delivery, and distribution of our plant-based food and non-food products.

This temporary, paid position plays an important role in maintaining an efficient production process while ensuring that all products meet our quality, sanitation, and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to producing high-quality vegan products.

Previous experience in the vegan or plant-based food industry is helpful but not required. Training will be provided as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Production

• Assist with the preparation and production of plant-based food products.
• Follow established recipes, measurements, preparation procedures, and production instructions.
• Prepare and manufacture products for retail sale, local distribution, and shipping.
• Support the daily production workflow while following all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Handle raw materials and finished products carefully to maintain quality and consistency.

Packaging and Fulfillment

• Portion, label, package, and organize finished products.
• Prepare and pack customer, retail, and wholesale orders.
• Prepare products for local delivery and shipment.
• Operate packaging equipment and other production tools safely and correctly.
• Verify that packaged products are accurate, properly sealed, and ready for distribution.

Delivery and Store Coordination

• Communicate professionally with local retail partners regarding orders and deliveries.
• Load, transport, and deliver products to local stores and designated locations.
• Confirm that deliveries are accurate and completed according to schedule.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, store representatives, and team members.

Food Safety and Quality Control

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize preparation areas, equipment, tools, storage areas, and packaging stations.
• Complete required cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Report damaged products, quality concerns, equipment problems, or safety issues to management.

Inventory and Operations Support

• Assist with receiving, organizing, storing, and rotating ingredients, supplies, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Help maintain proper storage conditions according to food industry standards.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, inspection, delivery, and compliance records.
• Assist with general day-to-day operational activities as assigned.
• Work with management to identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, product quality, and workflow.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in vegan, plant-based, food service, food production, manufacturing, packaging, or fulfillment is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, operational vehicle.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, weighing products, counting inventory, and recording production information.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain productivity while following safety and sanitation standards.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of completing assigned tasks within established timelines.
• Willingness to learn new preparation, packaging, delivery, and production procedures.
