Position Title: Busser - Family Entertainment Center

Job Overview:

As a Busser at our family entertainment center, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean and organized dining area for our guests. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork will contribute to creating a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for visitors. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.

Responsibilities:

1. Table Clearance and Reset:

- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests have finished their meals.

- Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure a clean and welcoming table.

2. Table Preparation:

- Assist in preparing tables for incoming guests by setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments.

- Ensure that each table is neatly arranged and ready for use.

3. Cleaning and Sanitation:

- Clean and wipe down tables, chairs, and high chairs to maintain a clean and hygienic dining area.

- Sweep and mop floors to keep the dining space tidy.

4. Support to Servers:

- Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or appetizers, and attending to guest needs.

- Collaborate with servers to enhance the overall guest experience.

5. Bussing Stations:

- Empty trash receptacles and bus bins in a timely manner to prevent overflow.

- Maintain organized bussing stations and dispose of waste properly.

6. Guest Interaction:

- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.

- Provide additional assistance or items as needed.

7. Team Collaboration:

- Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

- Assist with other tasks as required to support the dining operations.

8. Health and Safety:

- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary dining environment.

9. Flexibility:

- Be prepared to assist in other areas of the entertainment center as needed, based on operational requirements.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a busser, food runner, or in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining area.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.

- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and fellow staff members.

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays, and perform repetitive tasks.

- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a positive guest experience.

- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the family entertainment center.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
