Responsibilities
- Conduct motivational interviewing sessions to motivate clients and build trust, encouraging positive behavioral change.
- Assess clients’ needs through thorough interviewing techniques, identifying barriers related to housing, employment, mental health, and legal issues.
- Develop individualized reentry plans that outline clear goals and actionable steps for successful community reintegration.
- Connect clients with community resources such as social services, legal aid, employment programs, and mental health support.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, supervision agencies, and service providers to coordinate support efforts and ensure client safety.
- Manage crisis situations effectively by applying crisis management skills, providing immediate assistance or referrals as needed.
- Maintain detailed case management records, documenting progress, challenges, and service delivery in compliance with reporting standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in social work, case management, or related fields working with justice-involved populations or vulnerable communities.
- Strong background in motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate behavioral change and engagement.
- Familiarity with community services and the criminal justice system.
- Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Excellent interviewing skills combined with report writing expertise to accurately document client interactions and progress.
- Knowledge of social services systems, community resources, and legal processes relevant to reentry efforts is preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
