Project Superintendent. Your responsibilities in developing and managing site specific projects will include the following:
Superintendent:
Day-to-day operations require you to oversee site controls and management of existing and upcoming projects from conception to completion. Duties will include working closely with the management personnel and subcontractors in assuring all facets of Safety, Quality, Timeliness, and adherence to Contract Documents are addressed for the projected completion and profitability of assigned projects.
In addition, your duties will include implementation of Winmar Policies and Procedures; meeting established standard rules, regulations, procedures and formats in accordance with Winmar policy. You will be playing an active role with assigned management staff in ensuring all projects follow job costing procedures and reporting.
Duties and expectations:
· Duties will include developing new business opportunities and attending periodic marketing events, and joining business associations.
· Take part in developing construction schedule and plan review, produce look-ahead schedules
· Work closely with subcontractors on the job to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness
· Order materials as part of the Project Team
· Address punch list completion and warranty issues
· Check lead times on materials for projects
· Review submittals from subcontractors for compliance and adherence to specifications
· Keep track of ‘additional work’ on the job site
· Participate in interviews for new projects
· Directly responsible for the coordination and control of all construction activities on site
· Responsible for quality of work from subcontractors
· Check subcontractor scopes of work
· Work on subcontractor relations
· Recruit new subcontractors
· Spread a positive attitude in office and on jobsites
· Develop new client relationships
· Maintain OSHA standards of construction processes
· Maintain current As-Built plan set on site at all times
· Provide electronic logs fully completed each day
· Provide project site photos of ongoing work no less than weekly
· Provide a two (2) week look-ahead schedule each week in format approved by TEAM
Minimum OSHA 10
Minimum 10 years direct Commercial oversight experience
Related Field Degree preferred
