Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate shift activities to ensure efficient restaurant operations
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock, and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Train new staff members on food safety, service procedures, and POS usage
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Assist with food production, kitchen management, and catering operations when necessary
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Support budgeting efforts and manage resources effectively during shifts
Requirements
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant management, culinary supervision, or hospitality management
- Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or team management experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Experience with staff training, interviewing, and development processes
- Knowledge of inventory control, food handling, and food production processes
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
- Previous experience in casual dining, fine dining, banquet service, or catering is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shift responsibilities efficiently
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; culinary or kitchen experience highly desirable
