Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly.
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick service and upselling opportunities to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including kitchen equipment, counters, and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change while managing retail sales transactions.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders with a friendly attitude, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling procedures is essential.
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Background in food safety management, sanitation practices, or restaurant experience is beneficial.
• Retail or grocery store experience that involves customer interaction or cash handling can be an asset.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
