A Wingstop Team Member is responsible for preparing high-quality food that is consistent, flavorful, and prepared according to Wingstop operational standards. This role is essential to maintaining company standards across all areas of restaurant operations, including food preparation, product quality, customer service, food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene. The Team Member must be able to work efficiently, remain focused, and maintain a calm and professional attitude in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide an excellent guest experience by preparing food accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safe food-handling procedures to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen.
  • Accurately read and interpret order tickets to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
  • Measure, count, and portion bone-in wings, boneless wings, tenders, sandwiches, fries, and other menu items according to company specifications.
  • Manage cooking times and coordinate multiple food items using kitchen timers to ensure orders are completed together.
  • Sauce, season, and package food according to Wingstop's preparation, quality, and presentation standards.
  • Operate fryers, baskets, and other kitchen equipment correctly and safely when preparing menu items.
  • Complete daily food preparation and stocking duties based on prep charts and management direction.
  • Organize and stage completed orders to support accurate and efficient customer pickup.
  • Perform routine fryer maintenance, including filtering and replacing cooking oil while following established safety procedures.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary by consistently following "clean as you go" practices throughout the shift and during closing.
  • Immediately report safety, sanitation, equipment, or operational issues to management.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations, especially during busy periods.
  • Follow management directions and adjust to changing business and operational requirements.
  • Maintain proper personal hygiene, food-handling practices, and workplace cleanliness at all times.
  • Handle and use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Communicate questions, concerns, and suggestions for operational improvement to supervisors.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace while demonstrating strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Support other restaurant duties as assigned by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
