Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, provide menu recommendations, and maintain attentive service throughout each visit.
- Order Coordination: Communicate orders clearly and efficiently with the kitchen to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Menu Knowledge: Learn all menu items, ingredients, and preparation details to confidently answer questions and guide guest choices.
- Table Maintenance: Keep tables clean, organized, and well-stocked with condiments, utensils, and other essentials.
- Upselling: Suggest appetizers, beverages, and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Cleanliness & Support: Assist with bussing tables, maintaining dining area cleanliness, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation.
- Teamwork: Work closely with fellow servers, expeditors, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service.
- Compliance: Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Guest Feedback: Listen to guest input and communicate important feedback to management.
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to move comfortably and safely in a busy restaurant setting.
