What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Wings To Go?
We're looking for energetic, friendly team members who enjoy connecting with guests and creating a great dining experience. As a Server at Wings To Go in Burlington, you'll play a key role in providing the service, hospitality, and atmosphere that keep guests coming back. What You'll Do
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen team
- Learn the menu and confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations
- Keep tables, dining areas, condiments, and service stations clean and organized
- Suggest appetizers, drinks, and specials to enhance the guest experience
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Support fellow team members to keep service running smoothly
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
- Communicate guest feedback and help create a positive atmosphere for everyone
What We're Looking For
- Restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Dependable individuals who take initiative and contribute to a strong team culture
- Experience helping train, mentor, or support others is a plus
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move safely and comfortably in a busy restaurant environment
