Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive top-notch service while enjoying their meals. You will be responsible for managing guest relations, taking orders, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
- Assist in training new staff members when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Server or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, OpenTable) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with guests and team members.
