Role Description
This is an on-site role located in Middletown, CT, for a House Manager at Wings of Hope Recovery. The House Manager will oversee the daily operations of the sober living home, ensuring a supportive and orderly environment for residents. Responsibilities include supervising the residents, facilitating communication and conflict resolution, maintaining a clean and safe living space, and providing guidance during recovery transitions. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with house rules and assisting members with training or resources for personal development.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills to manage day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with house rules
- Effective Communication skills for mediating conflicts, guiding residents, and maintaining a supportive environment
- Capability in Training to assist residents with life skills and recovery transition processes
- Customer Satisfaction focus to address resident needs and create a nurturing environment
- Basic Computer skills to assist and ensure residents have access to telecommunicadions and online services
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting individuals in recovery
- Prior experience in house management or a related field is a plus
